All appointments to the T32 training grant are restricted to U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents of the U.S. and noncitizen nationals. Persons on temporary or student visas are not eligible.

Pre-Doctoral ApplicantS

ELIGIBILITY:

Pre-doctoral Applicants must be admitted to a doctoral program in the following departments: Biostatistics, Clinical Health and Psychology, Epidemiology, Health Education and Behavior, Nursing Sciences, Public Health or Interdisciplinary Program in Medicine.

Applicants are required to submit a complete application which includes the following documents:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Statement of Interest (no more than 3 pages)
    • Describe your interest in our T32 Training program and in research related to alcohol and HIV infection and our three focus areas (cognitive function, behavioral interventions, data science)
    • How would you bring diversity to our program?
    • What are your long-term career goals?
    • Describe your previous research experience
    • Which mentor are you interested in working with (and why)?
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Unofficial Transcript from previous institutions


Post-Doctoral Applicants

ELIGIBILITY:

Postdoctoral applicants must have completed a doctoral level degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) and must have the support of a SHARC T32 Core Faculty member with whom they are interested in working. 

Applicants are required to submit a complete application which includes the following documents:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Statement of Interest (no more than 3 pages)
    • Describe your interest in our T32 Training program and in research related to alcohol and HIV infection and our three focus areas (cognitive function, behavioral interventions, data science)
    • How would you bring diversity to our program?
    • What are your long-term career goals?
    • Describe your previous research experience
    • Which mentor are you interested in working with (and why)?
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation
  • Writing Sample
  • Unofficial Transcript showing that you have completed a doctoral level degree or equivalent
