Greetings!
We are all feeling mixed emotions this week as it has been a time of transitions. Amy Gandy, who has been the SHARC Director of Research Administration for the past 6 years, is leaving us to take on a new opportunity. Amy has been responsible for so much of what SHARC is today – from our connections with faculty, students, departments and colleges – as well as SHARC in the community. She has been an invaluable source of support for many of my administrative activities as the SHARC Director. We will miss her a lot, but wish her the best at her new position.
Meanwhile, we are very pleased to have Julia DeMott joining us as a research coordinator and administrative team member. Julia has been engaged with SHARC for over a year, doing her MPH internship with us and working on a manuscript with our MAPLE study data. Julia will be helping us to get our CFAR application completed and submitted this summer- and we look forward to working with her in her new role!
