UF PHHP Research Day 2020

On February 6th, 2020, the UF College of Public Health and Health Professions (PHHP) hosted our 33rd annual Research Day!

Faculty, researchers, postdoctoral trainees, and students all came together to discuss and learn about research projects taking place across the college and campus. The event began at 3:00 PM with viewing of poster presentations open to campus and community attendees, and later featured a keynote speech.

Sandro Galea, MD, MPH, DrPH, Dean and Robert A. Knox Professor at Boston University School of Public Health, addressed the audience with a presentation on “Health haves and health have nots: Understanding and narrowing health inequalities in a rapidly changing world”. Following Dr. Galea’s inspiring presentation, Research Day concluded with a reception and awards ceremony.

A big thanks to all those involved in the coordination of PHHP Research Day! We love seeing our trainees and students display the results of their scholarship, and we are already looking forward to PHHP Research Day 2021.
